Rating:
I bought this recorder, and was initially very pleased. Set up was simple, and actually recording couldn’t be easier.
Unfortunately the machine I had could not keep synch with the picture and audio in high quality mode, and also suffered some glitches in the 2 hour setting.
I may have been unlucky to get a faulty machine, but after wasting many discs I could not recommend this model.

I too have experienced lip sync issues on recordings. The picture can pixelate (AKA get blocky) even in SP mode. It has also just started to reject discs -RW discs. It has also rejected discs just after/while formatting them.

This DVD recorder looks good and the interface is reasonably easy to use. Up until this point I was impressed with the machine however it started to go down hill. Often it refuses to load DVD-R/RW disks which are the only format it can record onto and this can be very frustrating as it can be a couple of days before it will start to work again. On top of this the lip sync is almost always off and close ups are unbearable. My advice is not to touch this DVD recorder ever, its awful.
