I replaced my Samsung BD-P1580 with this player and I can honestly say it’s in a different league. The 3D is excellent (through a Samsung 40C800 TV – REMEMER YOU’LL NEED V1.4 HDMI CABLES FOR IT TO WORK PROPERLY). Not a hint of this cross-talk that the reviews all bang on about.
I tested this with my usual benchmark blu-ray “Avatar” and the picture is without a doubt the best I have ever seen on any TV ever.
btw, ordered it 2pm (ish) on Friday afternoon and it arrived by 10am Saturday morning. Nice one amazon.

Where do you start? Simple set-up. Found my Network without any input from me. Just needed to enter the Password. Great Picture and sound. Connected the Optical Out Cable directly to the AV Receiver, but can’t figure out where to connect the 7.1 analogue cables to my Denon 3802? Don’t know why you would need Analogue as the Optical drive is great, but I’m sure an Audiophile can put me straight? If you want the best 3D experience of your life (at Home) then buy the Samsung 63″ Plasma Model: PS63C700, and this DVD Player and you will want to live forever just to keep enjoying the experiences. No humming from the TV as reported by others. Just a great combination and a great joy to watch and listen….. And this is just the beginning. In a few years, if not sooner, there will “heaps” of 3D products, but the FUTURE ID NOW, and I’m just a retired Military Serviceman and don’t work or get paid by Samsung to Write Reviews. AV Forums is a great place to get the optimal settings for the TV and you can save yourself from spending money for calibration. OK, so now all Calibrators will hate me. Maybe they are still warranted, but I am happy as it is. Anyway, at the least, don’t forget to chance your set-up from “Store Demo” to “Home Viewing”, otherwise your pixels will run out of gas in no time, not to mention that the Brightness will probably blind you in the Medium to Long Term. Buy Both Items and Enjoy!!! You get one free Glasses after you register the TV. If you want quick delivery for additional glasses get them from the Amazon Lux. Store. The Jersey Store takes forever.

Wow what a great player, so quick to set up to the tv and the internet. Very quick starting up and very quiet..
Very impressed with Amazon around £100 cheaper than anyplace else, all I need is a 3D television.
